I was a carpenter and weldor for the Seattle Opera Association Scene Shop for 5 years.

I spent most of my time on Lohengrin building a huge set of stairs, but at the end of the build I switched to props and made a large collection of aluminum and wood swords.

The aluminum swords were made entirely with wood working tools. Mainly a table saw, and a large 1.5 HP router.
