I bought the double head Hammond belt grinder from a friend, but it turned into a major project.

1. Replaced the main shaft bearings.

2. Converted it to a variable speed 3 Horse 3 Phase motor with a VFD for speed control.

3. Converted the left side to use 2" x 72" belts and give a vertical contact surface.
