This photo is of the practice climbing wall at the REI main store in Seattle. I made this for their grand opening. It is for testing your climbing shoes. I made other pieces for the store as well, but this is the only one still there. It is 1200 lbs of 5/16" steel. Because the floors have pre-tensioned cables embedded, we couldn't anchor it down, so it was stabilized with a steel cable to an overhead beam.
