Museum Associates Gallery was a unique store in Seattle that dealt in very large fossils and crystals. For 2 years I made custom stands for their pieces. The first piece I did was the Walrus Skull. It is a 40,000 year old skull. I created the design and made the piece as a test by the owner. He had been trying to sell the skull for 5 years.
A week after I completed it, Sylvester Stalone bought it while in Seattle, shooting Assassins.
After that I did many stands for them. After 2 years they sold the store and went into brokering the huge pieces to museums and architects.
